Just recently I had a popular drop over bag (UAS) for 300c load tested

The results were concerning to say the least

The bag itself use to be advertised as 1500lb rated bag

They now no longer post a load rating for this bag.????

Now for the front of a 300c this is already too little as this bag needs 90 psi

just to achieve ride height and these bags are rated for only 100psi.

When the bag was load tested at 100 psi it only came in at 1260lb.

Well under the claim of 1500lb.

A volume calculation was also done by filling the bag with water and then draining it out to get the volume

The calculation for lift at that volume came in at 1060lb @100psi

It is extremely important to make sure the bag used on such a large car has enough lifting capacity for the car and is not working at 100% of it load capacity just to get ride height

The ride would be extremely stiff as the bag effectively would be locked up

One other thing I found is the tire hits on this bag at full lock
